Hyundai Elantra Review Highlights from Edmunds.com

Review by Edmunds.com

Just call the Hyundai Elantra the comeback kid. Introduced in the early '90s, the economy-priced sedan didn't exactly get off to an auspicious beginning...

Since then, though, the Elantra has dramatically improved, offering better reliability, agreeable performance and a long list of standard features. Suddenly, this Korean automaker's longtime also-ran is now a class leader. Take it for a spin and you'll likely be impressed by its smooth ride and responsive handling. Throw in its roomy cabin (which features a backseat that's spacious enough to accommodate grown-ups with ease), solid build quality…

Honda Odyssey Review by Edmunds.com

Review by Edmunds.com

For most of its lifespan, the Honda Odyssey has been a favored pick for many savvy minivan consumers. Although the vehicle had a rather humble debut, it quickly hit its stride once Honda came out with the second-generation model, which featured a spacious cabin and an innovative fold-into-the-floor third-row seat. Now in its third generation, the Odyssey is one of the top minivans currently available.

Invariably, whenever we've had a minivan comparison test, the Honda Odyssey has made a strong showing, usually earning top honors. ... the Honda's combination of [performance and family-friendly] features, along…

However, the volume leader for the 5 Series is the four-door sedan, which officially debuts today. The 5 Series sedan gets a four-inch shorter wheelbase than its siblings, but at…

Spy Shots of the 2011 Audi A7

Shots and Article by Edmunds Inside Line-

Here are the first spy shots of the 2011 Audi A7, which our shooters caught uncovered and undisguised in a German test lab. The resemblance to the Audi Sportback concept from the 2009 Detroit Auto Show is unmistakable. Still, subtle changes to this prototype's front fascia are visible, as the concept hatchback's cleanly styled front air intakes have been replaced with more conventional inlets resembling cars in Audi's current lineup. The headlamp design is also toned down quite a bit.

In one of the detail shots..you'll see that…

Toyota 4Runner- Getting Back to SUV Roots with New Trail Tracker Site

Article by MediaPost Publications-

Toyota's new campaign for the newest version of its 4Runner mid-size SUV returns to days of yore, when SUVs were marketed as the ultimate off-road vehicles. While most automakers have migrated to marketing truck-based SUVs (versus unibody "crossovers") as multipurpose carryalls, Toyota is going back to the woods with the effort that carries the tag line "You In?"

In a more contemporary twist, the campaign trades TV ads for digital and social-centric elements, including a Web-based "Trail Tracker." The feature, at TrailTracker.com, is a kind of "Google street view for trails," as Mike McKay…

Return of Paperboy? Honda Unveils Bicycle Simulator

Article from Autoblog.com

You remember Nintendo's Paperboy, right? Back in Triassic era of videogames, you had to deliver the day's print to the right house while not getting run over by a car or taken out by a tire. Not exactly the most direct way to learn bicycle safety, but it was fun. A more efficient way to stay safe on a bicycle is Honda's new simulator, which aims to teach two-wheeled folks better on-the-road safety.

Traffic fatalities have fallen in Japan but bicycle fatalities have apparently risen, with teens and older riders the biggest victims…

Article by Arthur St. Antoine for Motor Trend-

As I pressed the starter button and the 2010 Prius's hybrid-system monitors lit up, so did my daughter's eyes. "Whoa!" she said from the back seat as we prepared to drive to school this morning. "Is this the kind of car a secret agent or James Bond…

November Nor'Easter Claims a Porsche Cayman

It's been a tough week for Porsches.  Yesterday we saw one dipped in chocolate, and today, I received pictures of a perfectly innocent Porsche Cayman, which was purchased right here at Checkered Flag Porsche, buried by sand in Cape Hatteras.  I like to pretend this Cayman is just having a nice day at the beach, and let it's little Cayman children bury it for fun.  But the truth is this unsuspecting hotrod is a victim of our November Nor'Easter... Devastating.
