Congratulations are in order!  Kelly Blue Book  awarded Porsche in three separate categories following their year-long Brand Watch Study.  There are three categories total, and winners are based on "consumer perception data" that shows "which brands best communicated certain features on their vehicles."  Porsche won Best Performance Brand, Best Exterior Design in the luxury segment, and (my personal favorite) Coolest Brand.

I made the first Busch Gardens trip of the season with my family yesterday, and what a blast!  We rode every roller coaster and most of the smaller rides too.  I was just discussing with my Facebook friends which rides I love and asking their preferences when I stumbled across this brand new Dale Earnhardt themed coaster called, appropriately enough, The Intimidator. BMW 3 Series changes to include GT and Turbo M3

We are hearing that the new 3 Series lineup is going to include a GT edition and that the future M3 will shed the V8 in favor of a powerful twin turbo 6 Cylinder.

We heard it last week in some loose talk, but it looks like AutoBlog is making it an official Internet Rumor.  Of course we have to call it a rumor right now because neither car is sitting at Checkered Flag BMW yet.  It isn't true till it is here!

Volkswagen is responding to the increased global demand for customized, individualized vehicles which provide you, the driver, not only sportiness, but also exclusivity.  VW has officially announced, after much speculation following the release of the Golf R and Scirocco R, that they are creating a separate R division!  Special design packages, and enhanced performance models are the main focus.  Going forward all R-badged VW's are the responsibility of the new company, full name: Volkswagen R GmbH.
