Test Drive Your Tune

Recently Checkered Flag Hyundai teamed up with three local radio stations to promote local musicians!   During our "Test Drive Your Tune" promotion we shined a spotlight on the home-grown talent here in Hampton Roads and YOU got to pick the best of the best.  We received entries from countless singers, songwriters, bands, and groups. 

The top three finalists as determined by your votes were Justin D. Clements, Luke Hartman, and The Cody Austin Band.  Finalists were awarded a full length professionally produced music video which was posted on checkeredflag.com, on-air mentions on 97.3 The Eagle, Hot 100.5, and 92.9 The Wave, and an assortment of concert tickets and travel packages!   All three bands performed at the Grand Finale at Checkered Flag Hyundai, and the winner, receiving the most votes, The Cody Austin Band received the Grand Prize, a trip to Nashville!
