All lanes of Interstate 264 will be closed for several hours one night next week while crews work to replace overhead signs between Lynnhaven Parkway and First Colonial Road, state transportation officials said in a news release.

Now, many of you Checkered Flag fans may not have heard about the 10th Annual Mid-Atlantic Hermit Crab Challenge that took place this weekend at the Virginia Beach Oceanfront.  And, if you did, you probably didn't realize what a big deal this event really is. 

After months of unending hermit crab training in preparation, this weekend's event was filled with tension and hope.  Some contestants found the excitement, and perhaps the heat, to be overwhelming.  A young contestant from Suffolk even vomited on the reporters shoes before her interview!
