This is the coolest thing I've ever seen.  If you're around the same age as me, I'm sure at some point in your life you watched the Jetson's.  I bet, like me, you thought that is how the future would be, right?  Rosy, your robotic maid would clean the house and make your bed, and you would just strap on your personal flying device and fall out of your flying car and hover all the way to school.  Well, I'm happy to inform you, the future is here!  I just found a real jetpack that really makes you fly!!  Can you imagine if the next time you visit a big city, like New York or Chicago and all the people are flying around above the city in their own jetpacks?  I live pretty close to work, I could totally buy one of these and fly on over to work in the morning, then hover on up to Town Center for lunch in the afternoon.  Oh yes, I definitely need one.


 
Its called a Martin Jetpack and "is fitted with a 2.0-liter two-stroke V4 that kicks out 200 horsepower at 6,000rpm and 240Nm of torque at 3,500rpm."  The pack can accommodate a pilot up to 280 lbs and thrust you up to 8,000 feet in the air. The five gallons of fuel carried on board are enough to get you 31.5 miles which is plenty far for me to get anywhere I'm willing to fly!  Apparently this future-mobile costs little more than a high-end vehicle, although I didn't see a number anywhere. 

Sorry, I can't finish writing this.. I have to go talk to the powers that be here at Checkered Flag and see about opening up a Martin Jetpack division somewhere on the Boulevard!  Love it!!!
