Toyota Electonic Throttle Found Not Guilty by Dept. of Transportation
Toyota is getting a heaping helping of vindication this week thanks to NASA engineers. A U.S. government report based on a ten month investigation by the Department of Transportation's National Highway Transportation Safety Administration (NHTSA) conducted primarily by NASA engineers found that electronic throttle systems in Toyota vehicles could not be blamed incidents and accidents related to "unintended acceleration."
