Meet the Heroes of Gas Mileage and see how they compare...

Checkered Flag has the most fuel efficient new vehicle inventory in Hampton Roads.  You've probably already thought of vehicles like the Toyota Prius, Honda Civic, smart fortwo, and MINI Cooper as top of their class, but you may be surprised what you see from the Honda Accord, Toyota Camry, Hyundai Sonata, Porsche Cayman, BMW 3 & 5 Series, Audi A3 and many others.  We've dubbed these cars the "Unsung Heroes of Gas Mileage" for their outstanding (and underestimated) performance in fuel efficiency.

Between MPG, traveling distance on one tank of fuel, and how much you can expect to pay at the pump, it is tough to find such a complete comparison.  It is really eye-opening!

The all new BMW X6 Sports Activity Coupe...wait a sec! SUV + Coupe??? Huh?

That's right!  BMW is at again.  They're redefining another segment of the automotive world.  The X6 will be a two-door SUV combining a 4x4's attributes with sports car performance.  It will be the first production vehicle to feature BMW's Dynamic Performance; which, apportions engagement of the rear wheels from side to side based on need.  That means it can rotate the outside wheel faster than the inside wheel in hard cornering, thus improving cornering speed.  
 
The X6 with be lighter than the X5, come with 4WD standard, and will feature a twin-turbocharged motor in either 407hp V8 or 306hp inline 6 configuration.  It sits lower & wider than the X5 for even better handling.  Expect to see around 19 MPG in the V8 model.....along with a 0-60 MPH time in the 5 second territory!
 
Also be on the lookout for the X6's V8 motor in the 6 Series, 550i, and 750i down the road.
